General Cinema opened this 1700-seat single screen theatre with "Peter Pan" and operated it until it was sold to Wehrenberg on November 1, 1989.

It was divided in later year into four screens.

In an article inside the 7/14/1969 issue of Boxoffice Magazine, this was General Cinema Corporation's 166th unit. The article went on to state that GCC also operated the Northland, South County, Gem, Grandview, Sunset Hills and Airway Drive-In.
