Built by AMC theatres in 1976, this location was eventually operated by Carmike Cinemas until it returned to the AMC banner in December of 2016 when AMC purchased the entire Carmike Cinemas chain. AMC closed the theatre after business on 1/11/2018.

VIP Cinemas reopened the theatre on 8/24/2018.
