The Old Orchard Theatre originally opened in 1960 by M & R Theatres as a single-screener. It closed after December 2000 and was demolished in March of 2003. There are currently plans to build a set of condominiums and a fast-food restaurant on the property.

A second screen seating 950 opened October 2, 1973.
