Carmike Cinemas closed the theater in August 2005 after taking over operations from GKC Cinemas. Nova Cinemas reopened the theater in October 21, 2005.
On August 24, 2012 the theatre added a drive-in screen in the overflow parking lot that shows classic movies during the warm-weather months.
