Information for this tour was contributed by Scott Norwood.

The Chestnut Hill opened as a twin cinema on Christmas Day, 1975. In December 1979, both auditoriums were split widthwise, becoming a 4-plex. Cinema 2 was split again in June 1980, this time lengthwise, creating two narrow rooms. Cinema 1 was certified as a THX theater in May 1989.
