"Tom Sawyer" was the feature playing on both screens for this theatre's opening.

Commonwealth opened a 6-plex in the same shopping center on 12/5/1985 and kept this theatre open until after the holidays. An article in the 1/30/1986 edition of the Manhattan Mercury explained the Westloop Twin was in fact closing.
