The cinema posted on their website on May 18, 2020, that after they closed due to COVID-19 restrictions in March, they were not able to make arrangements with the landlord and the lease was terminated and the theater had to close permanently.

EVO Entertainment subsequently announced that they would be taking over operation of the theater.
