Livonia's first movie theater opened on September 20, 1962, with The Music Man. It was initially jointly operated by Suburban Detroit Theaters, Adolph & Irving Goldberg, and Lew Wisper & William Wetsman. It was twinned during the 1970s, and the 70mm equipment was removed at that time. The theater was later operated as a four-screen house by Cinemark Theatres from 6/17/1988 to 12/8/1999.
The theater is now being used as a used car showroom by a nearby auto dealer. Photos Photos remain the property of the Member and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Member. |
