The Showcase I & II opened on November 15, 1970, and was the first Redstone/National Amusements venue in the area. The twin opened with "Catch-22" and "Little Fauss and Big Halsy". Two screens were added in 1976 and one of the original auditoriums was split later that year. The Showcase 6-10 was built across the road in 1981.
