The Lakeside Cinema I & II opened in 1967. Cinema III & IV opened in an adjacent building in April 1976. Cinema II was divided in 1978, creating a fifth screen in the two-building complex. Then entire complex closed in September 2000 after General Cinema filed for bankruptcy.
