The original two screens were built on the lower level of the new Oxmoor Shopping Center. An additional three screens opened on 8/30/1974 to the upper level of the mall. The mall was renovated in 1997 and both theaters were closed.

This theatre switched from being advertised in the Louisville Courier-Journal as a Mid States Cinema to a USA Cinema on 12/6/1985, then a Loews on 4/20/1989, and finally to National Amusements on 4/21/1995.
