According to articles in the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, UA's lease on this theatre expired on 12/31/1991 but they were able to operate it for a short while after that. In early 1992 the theatre began appearing outside of UA's advertisements, presumably operated by a local independent.
The theatre began appearing in Cobb advertisements in late 1993. Cobb operated it until 6/2/1996; an article in the newspaper stated Cobb decided not to renew the lease.
A 4/4/1998 article indicated that CineCorp was nearly finished remodeling this theatre to open later that month. CineCorp also operated theatres in St Louis, Manchester, and Spanish Lake, MO. Though ads appear to peter off for this theatre it still appeared in Co-Op advertisements until 1/13/1999.
