A 5/13/2020 article was posted to MLIVE.com reporting that this theatre would not reopen after the Covid 19 pandemic passed. Its last day as Celebration Cinemas was 3/15/2020.

Phoenix Theatres announced in November 2021 that it would reopen the theater after renovations.
