An article in the 11/10/1967 edition of the Arizona Republic reported that Loews acquired this and 29 other movie houses from Statewide that month.
A 10/31/1976 article in the Arizona Republic reported that Century Cinema Circuit had obtained Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. It was said that this theater would "likely stay open under Century's operation or under some new owner's."
General Cinema Theatres acquired this from Loews on 6/28/1972 and operated it until 12/1973 when it began operations as part of Century Cinema Circuit. Following Century's bankruptcy, General Cinema operated it again from 12/22/1976 until 3/2/1977.
