Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. The Royal Theater opened before 1918 [1] and was located next to Christensen's on State Street.
During the Great Depression, movies at the Royal Theater cost 10 cents. Occasionally, the Royal Theater and the Cozy Theater would give away tickets to keep up peoples' spirits. [2]
The Royal Theater closed in the 1970s.
