Information for this tour was contributed by Bob Monaco. Grand Opening was Saturday, March 6, 1924. In July 1933, Dr C. T. Young and M. E. Moody, owners of the Young & Moody Building housing the Capital Theater, purchased the fixtures of the movie house. It was open until the 1960s. Afterwards, the theatre space was converted to retail.
