Information for this tour was contributed by Dave Felthous.

The Alderwood Stadium 7 was opened as a sloped-floor theater in 1986 by Luxury Theaters of Portland, Ore. It subsequently was owned by Act III theaters and now Regal Entertainment Group.

A Lynnwood landmark because of its hilltop location and tall, glass atrium entry, the Alderwood underwent major remodeling in 2004, the first since it opened. All auditoriums now have stadium seating, with high-backed rocking chairs, retractable cupholder armrests, and generous legroom.

The two largest auditoriums have Dolby Digital EX sound, making the Alderwood one of only a handful of theaters in Washington to have this system. All theaters also have DTS, and there is one SDDS unit that's used for backup.

The large front houses have 586 and 293 seats, respectively. The smaller houses, which open off a long promenade that extends from the large lobby, include one theater with 221 seats and four with 143 seats.
