Information for this tour was contributed by Matt Lutthans.

This theatre has been a Regal cinema for several years now, but was part of the SRO chain until they were bought out by Cineplex Odeon in the mid-1980s, then were part of the Cineplex Odeon chain until Regal bought out all the C-O theatres in Bellingham in the early 1990s.

This 3-plex is a virtual clone of the Totem Lake 3 in Kirkland, WA, also a former SRO theatre. They are identical right down to the panelling and the little funny surround speakers which still remain high up on the wall, as well as the odd, very steep ramps which are under the screens. (As opposed to the typical straight black masking.) As with the Totem Lake 3, cinemas 1 and 3 are mirror images of each other, appearing in opposite corners of the square-ish theatre building, with cinema 2 being small and skinny and sandwiched in between 1 and 3. In the case of the Sehome, Cinema 1 is in the SW corner, Cinema 3 in the NW corner, and #2 between the two. Restrooms are on the south end, ticket booth on the north, and concessions dead center, with games along the east wall.

The Sehome is very near to the campus of Western Washington University (my alma mater), and is first-run.
