This venue started showing movies on August 2nd 1922 and the first movie was D.W. Griffith's "Way Down East" the second movie was August 9th 1922 and it was Mary Pickford in "Little Lord Fauntleroy".

This was a dance hall that was used as a theater. Prior to Hap-A-Lan Hall, people in the area had to drive to the city of San Fernando.

Hap-a-Lan showed movies on Wednesdays.
