The Ideal Theatre at 9 Summer St., Springfield, VT was built in 1914 onto the back of the Sparrow Block by the Sparrow Amusement Co. They had vaudeville at first. There was a fire in the early '50s and the theatre was torn down about 1955. The seats were wooden.
