Information for this tour was contributed by Konrad Schiecke.

The theatre in this town was built in the early 1930s and called the Turman Opera House. In the early 1940s, it was remodeled and renamed the Joy. It closed in the 1970s and was again remodeled several years ago to operate as a dinner theatre. That only lasted one summer. It still stands with the marquee.
