Information for this tour was contributed by Daniel Fuentz. This theater was built in the 1970s by Festival Enterprises. Festival owned two other theaters in the Fresno area, the Fig Garden 4 and the Regency 6, as well as the Festival Game Palace arcade. By the 1980s Festival Enterprises was under the management of Mann Theatres, but the Festival name continued to appear in newspaper advertising until the 1990s. In 1999, Mann agreed to sell all of its Central Valley theaters to Signature Theatres, who was in the process of building a new theater complex at Manchester Center. When the sale was finalized to Signature in 2000, all of the former Mann locations in Fresno were closed. Shortly after the theater's closure, the Festival was gutted. It has remained in this state since then. The parking lot is currently home to a used car lot.
