Information for this tour was contributed by Ron Heberlee. The Elk's Theater was built for the Elk's club and vaudeville before 1900. After about 1914, it was used as a movie theater. Much later, it became the Washington Theater, but it had been remodeled so many times, there was really nothing left of the original building. It was torn down in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
