Opened as the Zeller Theatre on February 21, 1912, the theater burned on September 8, 1913. The destroyed roof and interior were repaired and the building functioned as a garage for 11 years before being leased to Rickards and Nace for use again as a theater.
The new Yuma Theatre opened on January 12, 1927, and operated until January 25, 1936, when the building was again damaged by a fire. Repairs were made again and the theater reopened on April 11, 1936. Photos
