Information for this tour was contributed by Bob Meza & Ken Roe.

This movie theatre/playhouse was closed for nearly 60 years before undergoing restoration and reopening in 2011. This theatre has been used for movie shoots through the years. Many MTV shoots. The auditorium has windows on each side! Something I have only seen once in an Opera House. To get to the projecton booth, you must climb a ladder you can see at the top of the balcony.

The last main use for the building before restoration was from the mid-1970s until 1984 when it was the Headquarters of the Gay Metropolitan Community Church.
