Information for this tour was contributed by Darren Snow. The name "Shady Oak" came from the theatre's earliest incarnation as an open-air picture show with a cool canopy of trees. Redecorated in 1965 and 1973, the Shady Oak was picked up by the Wehrenberg chain after the Arthur circuit went broke.
