An 5/7/2020 article posted to News Channel 11's website WJHL.com reported that the General Manager confirmed the theatre would not be reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic. Cinemark had closed the theater on March 18, 2020.

At the end of July, Legacy Theaters announced that it would reopen the former Tinseltown.
