Information for this tour was contributed by Tom DeLay. The Fox Theatre was demolished in 1975 and is now the site of a bus terminal. The theatre was designed by Los Angeles architect S. Charles Lee. The theatre had a 10-rank Wurlitzer/Louis Maas organ that was moved from the California Theatre in Bakersfield, California.
An article in the 12/23/1973 Arizona Republic reported that the theatre was set to close after business on 1/1/1974. Photos Photos remain the property of the Member and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Member. |
