Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe. Opened as cinema in 1911 with a claimed seating capacity of 600, it closed in 1931 and became the world famous Windmill Theatre, producing non-stop nude shows with comedy interludes. In 1964 it reverted back to film as the Windmill Cinema screening mainly X-rated movies. This closed in 1974 and it reverted back to live nude shows and was known as La Vie en Rose Theatre Restaurant. In 1986 it became Paramount City a venue for live entertainment and a TV recording studio. Recently it has reverted back to a nude show policy and is the Windmill International.
