Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe.

When first opened this was a 3 screen cinema, seating in each screen was for 884, 820 and in screen 3: 746. All were equipped to screen 70mm film.

In 1981 screen 3 was split in two which gives the current 4 screens operating today. Plans are to close this cinema late in 2004 when a new multiplex in the city opens.
