Information for this tour was contributed by Limelight Cinemas. The Meadowbrook Cinema was constructed by Jerry Lewis Theatres in the late 1960s as a single screen theater. It was converted to a three screen complex a decade later.
When the Meadowbrook closed its doors in 2000, Trainor Entertainment stepped in. They refurbished the theater, replacing carpeting, wall coverings, speakers, the popcorn machine, and even the screen in auditorium 1. The theater reopened its doors as the Limelight Cinemas on June 15th.
The theater closed on April 22, 2001, as the building's owner did not wish to renew the theater's lease. Photos Photos remain the property of the Member and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Member. |
