This is the main lobby. A false stucco ceiling that went up in 1979 has fallen, taking everything with it to the floor, including asbestos and recessed lights. One projector pedestal also sat to the left of me as I took the picture. Friends of the Met were hoping to take it to the theatre they were saving down the street. They are now dissolved.
