Information for this tour was contributed by Konrad Schiecke. The Coronado Theatre, with 2582 seats, opened in 1927. It was purchased in 1970 by the Kerasotes theatre circuit and closed in 1984. In 1997, Kerasotes gave the theatre to the city of Rockford, who renovated it and opened it as a performing arts center in 2001.
