Information for this tour was contributed by Tim Reed. Opened in 1956, across the street from the Family Drive-In. Built by J. Waller Rhodes, the Lexington Sheriff. This huge theatre was under construction for 2 years and featured space for 1250 cars. It was originally built to accomodate horizontal Vista-Vision projection, but the format waned before the theatre opened. Leased to Hallmark in 1973, leased to Mid-States Theatres, 1975. Closed 1982.
