Information for this tour was contributed by Wesley Horton.

The Hillcrest Drive-In opened on June 24, 1964, with the film "How the West was Won". In 1974, the land on which the drive-in was located was purchased by the city airport trust. The theater was leased to a local operator for several years until the airport decided it needed the land. As a result, routine maintenance was foregone for the last several years before its demise. The theater has been completely demolished.
