Information for this tour was contributed by Fran Schwarzer. Higginsville's original livery stable was located here, as well as an array of other businesses.
The Davis was built in 1933 by J.W. Davis and opened in 1934. With the exception of a 15-year run as a live country music show, the theatre has always had movies on the silver screen.
The historic single screen (houses 500) has been preserved and a new renovation process has taken place which added three additional screens.
