Information for this tour was contributed by Darren Snow. Built in the 1920s as the Capitol, this theatre has been the Paramount for most of its life. The entertainment is generally live these days, but I wouldn't be surprised if they occasionally showed a classic film or two.
The Paramount was heavily damaged in a 2008 flood and sat idle, waiting for its fate to be determined by the city. It was renovated and reopened in November 2012. Photos Photos remain the property of the Member and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Member. |
