Information for this tour was contributed by Darren Snow. They tore the guts out of this one circa 1996 to build the short-lived Shooting Star Drive-In, just up the road in Urbana. The 65's place in history is assured, as it started life as an experimental drive-in-the-round, with separate screens for each car. It was later retrofitted for conventional screenings. Photos
