United Artists opened this theatre at the end of 1989.

Muvico acquired this theatre on May 15, 1996.

The Hialeah 14 was remodeled in 2010, converting two screens into an arcade and bowling alley.

It was announced in November of 2013 that Carmike Cinemas would acquire the last nine Muvico locations. This complex was one of them.
