Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. The Carmike 12 was one of the most popular theaters in the Salt Lake area when it was new, but now it operates on reduced admission prices because of competition from two new multiplexes nearby. The theater originally had six THX-certified theaters, but only has two. The theater was remodeled recently to add stadium seating and digital sound in every auditorium. Photos
