A second screen was added in 1976 and three more in 1983.

Hoyts had originally closed this location in September of 1990 and made efforts to sell the business to another operator. Without any success, Hoyts reopened the theatre in April 1995. Regal purchased Hoyts' New England theatres in 2002.
