The February 5, 1971 edition of the Fitchburg Sentinel featured an article about this cinema expanding from two to four screens. While the addition was marked Cinemas 3 & 4 -- they were adjacent to the existing Cinemas 1 & 2.
The original Cinema 2 was twinned so the complex could become five screens on June 17, 1977.
