Information for this tour was contributed by Harry G Carr. The Palace Theatre was torn down on September 5, 2008, because of unsafe walls. The theatre was built in 1924 by Dent Theatres of El Paso and later sold to R&R Theatres of Dallas and closed in 1975. Prior to the Palace, the building housed the Broadway Theatre circa 1910.
