The Flicker Palace opened as the Jerry Lewis Cinema in the late 1960s and later became the Huber Heights Cinema from 1972-75. It was renamed the Flicker Palace in 1975 and closed in 1995. A year later, it reopened as the Huber Heights Movie Palace with "Independence Day" and closed for good in January 2001 with "The Grinch".
