Information for this tour was contributed by Roger Katz. Bantam Cinema is the oldest continuously operating movie theatre in Connecticut, having opened in 1919. It was originally a small single screen that has been split into two tiny auditoriums. These photos, believe it or not, were taken from the very back and the very front of cinema one. The rows of seats you see are all there is. Cinema two is about the same size. Photos
