Information for this tour was contributed by Tim O'Brien. Opened in 1908 and known as the Bijou from 1908 - 1926, Orpheum from 1926 - 1930, Bay from 1930 - 1957, and the State from 1957. The theater was gutted and renovated in 1930 by architect C. Howard Crane in the Mayan/Deco theme for the Butterfield Theatre chain.
