Information for this tour was contributed by Scott Neff. The construction of this theatre was announced in March 21, 1971 edition of the Del Rio News Herald. The theatres were owned and advertisted by Val Vista Theatres Inc. It was expained in the announcement that Val Vista Theatres was part of United Artists Theatre Circuit.
The theatre was built on a portion of the Flamingo Drive-In. When announced the theatre and Drive-In were to operate as an indoor/outdoor combination. By the time of the theatre's opening in 1972 there was no reference to the Drive-In continuing to operate.
By 1981 Plitt was operating this theatre along with the Gay 90's Drive-In.
