The original organ was a 3/14 Barton and was replaced with a 3/38 Kimball in 1990. The Kimball organ was owned by the Kimball Theatre Organ Society and was removed from the Oriental in 2017.
On July 1, 2018, Milwaukee Film assumed the lease on the Oriental. Landmark Theatres closed the theater after the last show on June 21 to move out and Milwaukee Film planned for an early-August reopening with new a projection system and improved restrooms.
