Because of the growing audience for art films, Tower Theater Corp. opened The Movie on 17 November 1965. The theater was located in the Olympus Hills Shopping Center at 3900 South and Wasatch Boulevard. The theater had 180 seats and showed art films along with the Tower Theater. The Movie was later replaced by the Olympus Starships twin theater.
