Information for this tour was contributed by Bob Monaco. Arto Monaco designed the interior of this theatre. It won an award for design, by Box Office magazine. Over the doorways, there used to be cutouts of different characters such as Charlie Chapman & Clark Gable, John Wayne, Roy Rogers & other notable characters. This theatre had padded, rocking theatre seats with love seats every so many seats. The theatre was quite elaborate when it opened. It was taken over & run by the owner of the Palace Theatre in Lake Placid, who also ran the theatre in Saranac Lake before it closed. The Harbor theater was part of a complex that also had a marina and a restaurant.
